The Curse of the Cake

Controls:

Mouse - Cat's movement.

C (or clicking on the name) - Use catnip

A (or clicking on the name) - Eat cake

This prototype was made for the Anything Goes Jam [8 bits to Infinity] and thus, I've embraced the following challenges:

- The player cannot use weapons

- The player character cannot walk

- Use a maximum of two colors

When creating this game I've tried to pay homage to some old games that I used to play in the DOS era :)

In the era of Chaos, when all the beings were starving for sugar, a little girl and her cat  Hannah found the answer to life, the universe and everything, she found the Cake of Infinity.

Now she must protect it from all the powerful beings of the universe, and for that she will use her Mighty Laser Pointer.

Ver 1.04 - So, what's new?

- Balanced the game, now with slightly slower enemies, the final stage should be a bit easier to finish ;)

- Pause! \o/ You can now pause the game, just hit "Esc" or "Spacebar" and you will be able to pause the game.

Future updates?

- I'm not sure if I will update this game any further. if you have any ideas, you can leave in the comments, and I will check. If I update it, it will probably be minor things... maybe add a different sprite for when the cat uses catnip.
